Hello, Museum gang! I’ve been off for the past week or so and the next week or so aren’t looking much better, so this and the next one or two are going to be in the primarily photos format. Thanks for bearing with me, I’ll have more brilliant thoughts to share with you ASAP!

It’s always fun to visit a museum with enthusiasts, and the day I was there I was joined by a goth couple who told me this was “probably their favorite Poe house”(there are others in Baltimore and Philadelphia, they had of course visited all three several times). They spent plenty of time debating with the tour guide about whether or not the bones at Poe’s grave site are really his and were, imaginably, a true delight to spend an afternoon with.
